Brendan Brader / Head Coach

Brendan, another former U Albany player, has over 20 years experience in hockey around the Capital District. He came to the Great Danes from the very reputable Shenendehowa High School team as well as a local Junior Hockey program. After 3 seasons behind the bench as an assistant coach, Brendan has taken over as head coach for the 2008-2009 season. He owns and operates Hostrocket.com in Clifton Park and currently lives in Albany.

Scott Solomon / General Manager

Coach Solomon, a former U Albany captain, is now behind the scenes handling all off ice related matters for the team. Coach Solomon coached the Great Danes both as an assistant and a head coach during his previous tenure. He currently the president of the MCHC and serves as the ACHA Atlantic director for the conference. Coach Solomon is the Regional Vice President and Financial Advisor for the Halliday Financial Group in Albany. He currently lives in Halfmoon, NY.

Frank Guiffre / Assistant Coach

Assistant coach Frank Guiffre, a former UAlbany player, has achieved several prestigious awards including 2005 MCHC Playoff MVP, 3 time MCHC Goaltender of the Year, 2007 ACHA All-American, 2007 All-Atlantic First team, 2007 ACHA National Championships 1st team all-tournament, four time MCHC all-star, and also three time MCHC all-conference team. Frank currently works and resides in Albany, New York.
