Coach Solomon, a former U Albany captain, is back behind the bench for the 2nd season for the Great Danes after a three year absence. Coach Solomon coached the Great Danes both as an assistant and a head coach during his previous tenure. He currently sits on the board of directors of the MCHC and serves as the ACHA liaison for the conference. Coach Solomon is the Regional Vice President and Financial Advisor for the Halliday Financial Group in Albany. He currently lives in Halfmoon, NY.

Brendan, another former U Albany player, has over 20 years experience in hockey around the Capital District. He came to the Great Danes from the very reputable Shenendehowa High School team as well as a local Junior Hockey program. Brendan brings his overwhelming desire to win and understanding of the team’s offense to the Danes. He will work with hard both on and off the ice to ensure the team’s repeat success this year. He owns and operates Hostrocket.com in Clifton Park and currently lives in Albany.
